The Project of an acoustically interactive kinetic ceiling designed by the use of computational tools with the focus on the performance of different combinations of absorbent and reflective materials. The aim of the work is to study redefined design strategies in the area of Architectural acoustics.
The work explores new design strategies in architectural acoustics, addressing the limitations of static, visually driven approaches in architecture. It proposes an adaptive system that responds to the specific internal sound conditions of space, recognizing that spatial quality is defined as much by sound as by form.
