By folding the volume, a sheltered patio emerges \u2014 a quiet green courtyard forming the heart of the house. Two wings arranged in a \u201cV\u201d open the interior to sunlight while maintaining privacy from the public space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The study was developed in response to the client\u2019s specific requirements, emphasizing privacy, natural light, and the efficient use of an atypical corner plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The layout unfolds linearly along the atrium. The building includes two units \u2014 a one-bedroom apartment on the corner with its own entrance, and a main two-storey family house with living spaces oriented toward the patio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The house is defined by its light geometry \u2014 long horizontal lines and glazed surfaces framing the garden. A triangular lattice fence complements the architecture with a subtle graphic rhythm that filters views and provides shade for the vegetation. The house is defined by its light geometry\u2014long horizontal lines and glazed surfaces framing the garden. A triangular lattice fence, or <em>gelosia<\/em>, complements the architecture with a subtle graphic rhythm that filters views and provides shade for the vegetation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the client\u2019s request, the <em>gelosia<\/em> was implemented as a delicate division between the patio and the car parking area. Crafted as a ventilated lattice wall, it ensures privacy while allowing light and air to pass through, creating a play of shadows that enriches the garden\u2019s atmosphere.
